I'm the Chief Medical Officer of LUCENT, leading project teams and subject matter experts in project delivery and providing thought leadership in Medical Affairs and Clinical Development. My background is clinical medicine in the NHS, followed by roles in both large pharma (Sanofi, Novartis) and smaller R&D-based pre-revenue organisations (OSI, Prosidion). My passion is the intersection of R&D with seeing medicines taken-up into clinical care, and how Medical and Clinical departments contribute to that transition phase - through the interpretation of data in the context of future planning for a new product.

Ensures multidisciplinary teams across Clinical Development, Medical Affairs, Medical Operations and MAIT work together to deliver strategy through to implementation. I am the Medical Director at LUCENT; I am responsible for the oversight of our Medical Affairs activities ensuring that they are delivered to a high standard. Before joining the pharmaceutical sector, I practised clinical medicine in the NHS, followed by a stint as an air ambulance physician. I am an experienced operational, people & strategic Leader within the field of Medical Affairs having worked in local, regional and global roles across multiple therapy areas in large and middle-sized pharma.

I am the Head of Business Operations at LUCENT, where I oversee the systems, processes, and strategic foundations that support the company's growth. I ensure that our operations run efficiently and that the infrastructure behind the business enables our teams to deliver exceptional work to clients across biopharma and biotech. With a background in business operations within the life sciences sector, I bring a pragmatic and strategic approach to organisational development. I am passionate about building strong operational foundations that empower people, support collaboration, and enable LUCENT to continue delivering high-quality impact in the industry.

I am Finance Director at LUCENT, bringing clarity to the money side of the business. Across 40 years in operational finance roles quite literally from the post-room to the Boardroom I have seen what drives success and, equally importantly, what doesn’t. I have worked alongside some extraordinarily talented commercial, creative, technical, marketing, legal, and people professionals and played my part in building businesses with them, which strikes the perfect balance between people and performance.

I am the Finance Administrator at LUCENT, ensuring the smooth financial operation of the organisation. I am responsible for day-to-day bookkeeping, efficiently managing expenses and ensure all payments are processed accurately and on time. As a valued member of the Leadership Team, I contribute to strategic planning and decision-making processes of the company. I also oversee payroll, ensuring employees are paid correctly and punctually. Beyond finance, I bring strong organisational and people skills to my role as an event planner and social organiser, coordinating company meetings, celebrations, and key milestones such as birthdays and work anniversaries.

I am a Director at LUCENT and have been part of the business since day one. My early focus was on marketing and planning, supporting the establishment and growth of the company. Today, I contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support its continued development.
